Reliability and Validity

Reliability is a scientific term that refers to the degree to which a test consistently predicts what the employer thinks it predicts. It asks the question is the tool dependable and consistent in predicting the same outcomes each time the instrument is used. This instrument in this case is whatever instrument we are using in the selection process.
